At 336 PM EST/236 PM CST/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong

thunderstorm 12 miles southwest of Vernon, moving east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around

unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is

possible.

Locations impacted include...

Vernon, Live Oak, Wausau, Ebro, Moose Pond, Fountain, Singer Road,

Camp Flowers, Camps Head, Holmes Valley, Gainer Spring, Millers

Ferry, Bennett, Youngstown, Porter Lake, Vicksburg, Smyrna, Majette,

Compass Lake, and Sylvania.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
